The Ringway Curtrans converts a 0-5A input signal (typically from a current transformer) to a 4-20mA dc output signal. Curtrans units may be calibrated to 0-5A = 4-20mA or any other specified ratio. The calibration setting is recorded on the 'Tested' sticker attached to the base. The output signal is clamped at 20mA (no over-range) for the full input current specified. The unit is DIN rail mounted and has dual 110V ac transformer input windings that allow for 110V & 240V connection.
